A Note About the difference between the MP3s and the Professional version Audio Interchange File (.AIFF) here:
(In the MP3s, the data AND music... this file is at -24 dB, whereas the promotional mp3s are compressed to normailze and dynamic loss occurs as a result, to the standard -12 - 0 dB range for standard audio personal use recordings. To play above 90 Db, you need a live compressorexpander/limiter/gate running and its best to have a relatively weaker signal with full compositional dyamics intact. The personal and promotional MP3s and Flash streaming here have also been normalized, then run through a Tube Exciter, a tiny amount of reverb, a phasehifting widener and louadness maxmimizer, and gain adjusted to be near 0 Db peak before rendering the mp3s.
